Senior portrait session - braili lopez pt.1
Yesterday, I had the pleasure and honor of shooting Miss Braili Lopez for part 1 of her senior photo sessions. Braili is the daughter of one of my favorite supervisors Janet Montes who I have had the pleasure of working with during my tenure with Verizon Wireless previously on 1820 S. Valley Mills which hint, hint is no longer there. However, the memories, friendships, and family I have gained from that place will live on forever. So when I got the call to do this you better believe I answered that call. The moment I found out that we would be shooting at staple I knew this would be a fun day to shoot.
Getting there around 4:30pm we had a nice window of light to get some incredible shots. And once golden hour happened the magic was absolutely present. One thing that stood out to me about this session has got be obviously the horses. My first time being around a horse up close and personal was incredible. They are so huge and intimidating in person but I remembered my good friend Kadette Fossum telling that when I get around the horses to remain calm and peaceful because the horses can sense when you’re uncomfortable and I definitely didi’t want to give off the wrong energy. One kinda gross unpredictable thing I learned first hand needless to say is that horses don’t care to tell you when they have to use the bathroom lol they just go! Overall, the shoot was fun and exciting to do. Braili was majestic and amazing to work with. The shots we got I believe are a testament to that.
